There was lot of weed pulling at first but we are also starting to plant and trying to come up w/ a plan to get a full blown sustainable organic edible garden going. Very exciting time. Hopefully in a year or two we will be able to provide our retreat guests diet mostly from our garden/orchard.
Meanwhile we started our first yoga retreat and have a wonderful yoga teacher on site to give awesome yoga lessons in the mornings.
I'll take a moment to share some photos. I have been eating "Okinawan Purple Sweet Potato" fries for three days.. and we pulled out fresh turmuric. So yummy!
